Measurements: Duette, 2.25 by 1.85 inches (5.7 by 4.7 cm); Necklace's feature, 2 by 2 inches (5.1 by 5.1 cm), and neckline, 15.25 inches (38.7 cm).
Marks: One of the fur clips is marked Coro Craft in a rectangular cartouche, and the frame that connects them is marked Coro Duette and Pat. No. 1798867. The necklace is unmarked.
References: The duette appears in red on page 155 of volume 1 of the Brunialtis’ “American Costume Jewelry Art & Industry”, where they mention the “Royal Oaks” line appeared in a Vogue ad in 1951. The 1951 patent for the matching brooch issued to legendary Coro designer Adolph Katz is attached.
