This is a lovely and unusual piece of vintage fabric. It appears to be lightweight cotton. It has a row of embroidered birds and flowers. There are three sets of flowers in orange, blue and yellow and three sets of birds in orange, blue and yellow. The pattern is repeated. The background is white. This is a novel piece of fabric. There is probably enough material to make a variety of items especially if used as a border.
It measures approximately 16" long and is almost 11 yards wide.
The condition is very good. There is one small stain on the edge toward the bottom about the size of a dime. There are no rips, holes or dirt on it.
This fabric dates to around the 1950's and was made by the Carolace Embroidery Co. of New Jersey. Carolace started in business making Vienna lace in 1917 and they are still doing business today.
