Old Advertising Frost's Liberty Club Coffee Tin or Can with Paper Label

This is an old Frost's Steel Cut Brand Liberty Club Coffee Tin. It is a 1 lb. can with a paper label. The label appears to be brown with black and gold graphics. However it may have been blue originally. You can see the end of part of the paper label where the original label once overlapped and that part is light blue. The following promotional message is on the back of the tin (partially illegible because of losses): "This brand of coffee . . .ully selected, is milled and cleaned before roasting, which removes from the beans all impurities, while in the raw sate. Owing to its rich Aromatic qualities this brand is only packed in 1 lb. air-tight cans and when properly prepared produces a smooth, fragrant, aromatic and delightful cup of coffee. Roasted and packed exclusively for W. B. Frost, Middletown Springs, VT." The top of the lid is embossed turn and lift to open.

The tin has some dents and there is oxidation on the lid. The lid lifts off the tin. The paper label has some losses. The label is ripped and missing along the top edge. There is part of the label missing in the front over the graphics. There are some tears on the back and there is part of the label missing on the side where it overlaps. It measures approximately 4 ¼" in diameter and 5 ¾" high.
