This is a beautiful cut glass decanter or carafe. It is heavy and has a flared neck with banding decorating it. The center has a small hobnail with petals flaring out from around the hobnail. This design is on both sides. There are decorative columns on both sides of the decanter. It does not have a stopper but one that measures less than 1" will fit nicely inside the decanter's 1" opening. The decanter measures approximately 8" high and 6 ½" in diameter at its widest part. It dates to around the early 1900's. It is unmarked and we have not yet been able to determine the maker or pattern.
The condition is good but there is some minor roughness on the inside of the decanter opening. The bottom of the decanter shows wear which is to be expected for its age and use.
