American Pottery Stangl Pheasant Ashtray
This is a very nice piece of American pottery. It is from the Stangl Pottery's Sportsman's Line. These ashtrays were produced from 1955 through 1974. There is a manufacturer's stamp on the back reads "Stangl Pottery, Trenton, NJ, 392000, Pheasant, Made in U.S.A." There is another stamp over that that is a light color. It is oval and Stangl is inside of the oval. We believe that this indicates the item is a second; however there are no noticeable flaws.

The ashtray is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks.
It measures approximately 11" by 8 ¼". It is a very decorative item and could be used for other purposes than an ashtray.
