This is a lovely antique cup and saucer in a pattern that is known as sprig. It was made in England and dates to the mid 1800’s. It has a simple hand painted pattern over the glaze of small green flowers and green leaves. The cup and saucer are multi paneled. The cup is beautifully molded and has a delicate handle.
The cup measures approximately 3 ¾” in diameter and 2” high. The saucer measures approximately 5 ½” in diameter. The saucer is numbered on the back. It looks like a 117. The condition is good. There is a crack that goes through the cup handle but no other problems. There are no stains, crazing, cracks or chips.
