Pair of Embossed Plates with Pheasants and Hand Painted Flowers

This is a beautiful pair of plates. The border is embossed with pheasants, grapes or berries, fleur-de-lis, vines and flowers. There are colorful flowers hand painted in a wreath around the border. The flowers are purple, pink and blue. The plates are unmarked. They are priced at $100 for the pair.

The condition is good. There are utensil marks and some wear on the flowers. There are a few mineral spots which commonly occur in the manufacture of pottery. The texture on the back of one plate is rough in the center. There are no chips cracks or crazing.

They measure approximately 8 ½" in diameter.
