Blue 1800’s Deer & Fawn Relief Two Part Mold Pottery Pitcher

This is nice old two part pottery pitcher. It is painted a country blue and has in raised relief a deer and her fawn under a fruit tree. It measures approximately 8 ½" high and 5 ¼" in diameter. It dates to around the mid 1800's.

It shows it history in that it has been well used and has sustained damage over the years. There is a chip on the top rim and a hairline that goes down the pitcher on the inside and outside from the top to the bottom of the handle. There are imperfections in the manufacture.
