19th Century Early English Sprig 7” Plate with Small Red Flowers and Green Leaves

This is a very lovely antique plate in a pattern that is known as sprig. It was made in England and dates to the mid 1800's. It has a beautiful hand painted pattern over the glaze of small red flowers and green leaves. There is an embossed garland along the rim that adds some wonderful visual interest to this plate.

The plate measures approximately 7" in diameter. It is not marked or numbered. The plate is in fairly good condition. There are no crazing, cracks or chips but there is some wear to the glaze on the front of the plate from use.
