Beautiful Large Ornate Hand Painted Scalloped Edge Continental Bowl

This is a beautiful large ornate floral bowl. The rim is scalloped and has ornate raised detail on it. There is embossing throughout the bowl. There are medallions within each scallop that have alternating aqua and gold designs and flowers. The flowers are pink, purple, yellow and orange. The center is decorated with a spray of pink, purple and orange flowers. The base color is a deep rich orange. The raised embossing along the rim is yellow and green. The back of the bowl have garlands of different colored flowers.

It is probably of German origin.

The bowl dates to around the mid 1800's.

It measures approximately 12 ½" in diameter.

It is in good condition with the exception of a chip on the base the bowl. There are no other chips, cracks or crazing.
