This is an exceptionally pretty transfer ware platter. The manufacturer is Ridgways and the pattern is Theodore. The platter has wonderful blue flowers scattered over the platter and heavily detailed branch like renditions on the border. The platter dates to around the late 1800's to early 1900's. The back of the platter has two impress marks and the manufacturer's mark Ridgways Theodore England Royal Semi Porcelain.
The back of the platter shows wear and some discoloration around the edges. There are imperfections in the transfer and there is crazing on the platter, which is, normal for its age. There is one small brown spot on the front of the platter.
It measures 13" in length and 10 3/4'in width.
