This is a wonderful pair of miniature American Federal Period brass and cast iron andirons. They have beautiful turned columns, an inverted beehive and an acorn finial resting on lovely spurred legs that end on small balled feet. They are circa 1800 – 1820.
They are in nice condition except that one andiron leans slightly toward the right. They have a lovely old patina and we have not polished them.
They measure approximately 7 ½" high and 3 ½" wide.
