Matching Pair of 19th Century Pan Base Brass Candlesticks

This is a nice pair of matching brass candlestick holders. They date to around the mid 1800’s. The candlesticks have round pan bases with side push ups. The one stick is missing the push up mechanism. The condition of the candlesticks is good but there is some wear and imperfections. The candlestick that retains its push up mechanism has a dent on the rim of the base. They are heavy brass and weigh 2 lbs, 8 oz. They measure approximately 7 ¾” in height and the base is approximately 5 ¼” in diameter.

The simplicity of these lovely candlesticks would allow them to work with many different decorating styles from antique to modern.
