Huge Vtg Peacock Eye Sterling Silver Art Glass Brooch OLD

Offered is a very unusual large sized sterling silver foiled peacock eye glass cabochon brooch. What is so unique about this beautiful old brooch is the size. Due to the costliness of materials, and time involved in creating this glass, many early items made were quite small.

This is an older brooch, and not only is it large, but it's nearly overflowing with iridescent foiled art glass cabs! Really one of the mostly lovely I've come across. Brooch measures 3" x 2". It has makers mark (can't read it) stamped above "sterling" on the backside.

Brooch overall is in good vintage condition with no missing stones. Silver has a dark patina which I have not polished. All stone are gorgeous except the oval on the top left has a minuscule bit of wear and the oval on the top left has a faint hairline crack, this is not readily noticable, In fact I didn't notice it until I started taking photos of the brooch. None of the stones are lose, all intact. All of the other peacock eye stones are perfect.

This is an old brooch, it was worn and loved for many years. It is still quite the stunner .... large and unusual! Don't miss your chance to add it to your collection. If I had kept this brooch, I was going to take a silver chain and run it thru the back to wear it as a necklace, it would make a FABulous necklace!
