FINE Art Nouveau Peacock Eye Foil Watch Pin Pendant

Offered is a fabulous iridescent art nouveau foiled peacock eye art glass brooch / pendant / watch pin. This is a beautiful old brooch with an absolutely huge cabochon peacock eye stone. The art of making peacock eye glass was a very costly process perfected in Gablonz Czechoslovakia at the turn of the century. Older peacock eye glass was generally quite small or in the form of beads. This brooch is an exceptional beauty!

It measures 2 1/8" x 1 1/4". The peacock eye glass measures just under 1" across making is stunning example. Pin also features a loop on the back, this may have been to hang a watch from or could be used to wear as a pendant / necklace.

This lovely old pin is in very good vintage condition with no damage. The pin is silver plated and there is some wear to the plating. Minor wear to the dome of the glass, nothing readily noticable and mentioned for accuracy.

Beautiful old pin from the turn of the century, sure to please even the most discriminating collector. The last photo shows some of the other peacock eye pieces I am listing tonight.
