Although not marked this wonderful antique box looks old European in origin ... possibly Austrian, Czechoslovakian or old Bohemian. This humped back baby trunk is studded with bezel set, faceted glass "gems". Even the bottom of the little feet are studded with jewels.

Box is a good large size to store your favorite treasures measuring 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" deep x about 5" tall. This enchanting, exotic box is embossed and hammered brass work., set with bezel set jewels. Inside is covered in dark blue velvet and appears original and old. Lid does not have a lock, but lid shuts down securely. Wonderful old box, perfect to store your treasures. Goes great with the jeweled Czech picture frames I have. Would make a great gift!.
