Reverse Cut Lucite - Japanese Pagoda Earrings 1950's
It amazes me how a few perfectly made cuts in the back of these earrings can produce an image of a three dimensional pagoda when viewed from the front. Earrings such as these were made in post WWII Japan, and were often purchased by soldiers to give to someone at home.

While probably inexpensive at that time, they are very well made and quite unusual. These earrings are clear lucite with a sterling silver ear wire.
They have screw back ear wires, but I will gladly convert to silver-plated-pierced ear wires at no cost. I may have sterling ear wires available at cost. Please ask for details.
