Maria of Mexico - Porcelain Doll from the the Hamilton Collection
The tag on the body reads "Hamilton Collection, made in Thailand". This company produced good quality collectible dolls, but no longer does so. Maria was produced from 1980 - 1984, part of a series of dolls representing many countries. These dolls originally sold for about $70 - $80. I've partially undressed the doll to give you an idea of the construction. The doll is in very good condition, with slight staining on the body, which I think is from the stand.
Maria has been displayed, but never played with.
