Everyday French Cooking by Henri-Paul Pellaprat

This unassuming little paperback is extremely desirable and hard to find. According to the cover, this book has '1200 taste-tantalizing recipes in the book the French have called their "Bible" for over Forty Years'.

The author is Henri-Paul Pellaprat (1869-1952), one of the most esteemed chefs of the 20th century, founder and teacher of the Cordon Bleu in Paris.

This book comes from an estate. It is in excellent condition, with minor cover wear and yellowing of the pages. The inside is extremely clean - no stains, tears or writing. The former owner - a great cook took excellent care with her books - and this is no exception.
