You Will Go to The Moon by Mae and Ira Freeman - 1959 Edition

You Will Go To The Moon is a work of children's literature published in 1959, ten years before the first moon landing. It begins "The moon is up there, far away. No one has been there yet. But someone will go there soon."

The book is a children's story in the "Beginners Books" series, written using a limited vocabulary for age six. The illustrations show a lunar mission concept based on the Von Braun and Ley space exploration concepts of 1952, with three-stage rockets, a rotating-wheel space station, and a lunar surface shuttle.

This is the 1959 Beginner Books "Book Club" Edition. It is in good used condition with moderate wear. There is a name inside the cover that has been partially blacked out.
