Southern Estate Large Needlepoint Handbag with Antiqued Gold Tone Floral Frame

This beautiful and near mint condition vintage handbag was recently acquired from a Southern estate. The large handbag measures 9" in height, 10 1/2" in width and 3" in depth. The needlepoint background is cream with lovely florals in lavender, rose, yellow, pink and burgundy with green leaves and olive scroll accents. The pattern is on both sides of the handbag and smaller patterns on the sides and bottom of the bag.

The handbag has cream leather piping and sides by the frame. The exquisite antiqued gold tone frame features florals on both sides and the handle is 6" long on each side from the center. It is made of triple links with raised beading. The closure is a textured snap lock.

The inside is cream satin and features one zippered compartment and one slip on one side and a slip compartment on the other. Also included is a satin change purse and a mirror. The change purse has very light soil on the edges, but goes relatively unnoticed. The inside is impeccable. The bottom of the handbag has four gold tone feet.

Rarely does a handbag of this quality come along in such fine condition. You won't be disappointed.
