This is a beautiful bracelet recently acquired from an estate. The quality is superior and the beauty is nothing less than expected from Henkel and Grosse. This manufacturer made jewelry for Schiaparelli and Jeanne Lanvin before WW2 and beginning in 1955, they made four collections a year for Christian Dior.
This bracelet is almost identical to a Dior bracelet that I sold here last year. In fact, at first glance I thought this was another Dior. But, very pleasantly surprised that it was Grosse. It has a basket weave pattern and is articulated for ease of wear. It glides like satin on your skin and extremely comfortable to wear. It has a push-in clasp with a side locking mechanism for added protection.
The gold plated bracelet is in excellent vintage condition with only light wear to the back of the clasp where the trademark is. The bracelet is 3/4" wide and 7 1/2" wearable length. It is trademarked and dated Grosse© Germany and 1969.
