This beautiful vase was recently acquired from an estate and is in excellent condition. The #389 vase was produced between 1941-1943. The pulled vases are not all uniform and this vase while meant to be the 8" vase is not quite 8" tall, it is actually 7 1/2". It is 11 1/2" across the top and the opening has a depth of 3". The opalescent blue of this period is a bit darker than the later blue opalescent pieces and this shows in the area around the base that is without the opalescence. The base is 4" in diameter with no logo on the early pieces. This piece is especially lovely as it has a heavy opalescence that is very uniform for a pulled vase. There are simply no issues with this piece and it is a lovely, lovely display item.
