Very Early Pressed Glass Ruffled Footed Center Bowl
This is a wonderful old pressed glass center bowl. It is a recent Southern estate acquisition. It is 10" across and has a depth of 2". The sides are gently ruffled and the edges are scalloped. The pressed glass patterns are mostly floral with swags and cameos of tulips along the sides. The footed bowl bottom has a large floral design. It is from a four piece mould and is in excellent condition. It has a few makers marks, i.e., straw marks and bubbles. These are not flaws. When held to light, a few faint utensil marks are noted. There are no chips, nicks or fleabites. The stand is not included.
