This massive Milk Glass vase is a recent estate acquisition. It is actually 11 1/2" tall, but is known as the 11" vase. This style vase is the #4517 or trophy style vase that was a mainstay with Weil. The vases made for Weil in this style were in Blue Overlay, Rose Overlay and Aqua, Rose and Silver Crest. The double crimped Aqua Crest top is 8" across! The inside has some black specks around the inside edge and into the bottom of the vase. When I acquired the vase, it had dirt in the bottom and most likely was used for cut flowers. The specks cannot be seen unless you actually look inside the vase. There are no chips or cracks and overall it is a beautiful Fenton vase and rarely found in this size. I have priced this vase at a lower than normal price due to the black specks inside the vase.
