This gorgeous Fenton Apple Blossom Crest bowl is a recent estate acquisition. Apple Blossom Crest was first introduced in 1960 and is not to be confused with the Apple Blossom pattern. It is Milk Glass fluted with edges ranging from light pink to deeper reds of hand spun Opaline glass and this piece is one of the prettiest examples I have seen to date! The Apple Blossom Crest was only in production for one year and all 12 pieces in this line are scarce. This beautiful bowl is 10" across the ruffled top and stands 4" tall. It has a small glass maker's mark on the underside from the crest just slightly into the Milk Glass area. It does not show through to the top and is not a flaw. It is slightly less than 1/2" long. It is hardly noticeable, but felt it needed to be mentioned. This is a Fenton collector's delight! It is a very beautiful piece indeed and in excellent vintage condition!
