Viking Knit Copper Necklace With Amber Pendant

I have used 26 gauge Copper which I knitted by hand around a dowel rod to create the tubular shape. A brushed satin finished bead-cap finishes each end of the necklace with a round 6mm Copper bead topping that. I created an S-clasp to fasten the necklace closed securely.

At the bottom of the necklace hangs a pendant of Sterling Silver with an Amber setting. I created a bail from Copper wire which I have wrapped with smaller Copper wire to create a textured affect.

The Copper wire is natural and not been coated. It will Patina with age and can be polished to renew the shine.
