Very Fun Necklace of 1940s Celluloid Shade Pulls - Figurals

They used to pull down those old roller shades that covered windows in the 1930s and 1940s. But they look much better hanging around your neck as a necklace than dangling from a shade.

These figural shade pulls are made of hard celluloid plastic. They're hand-painted and two-sided. The pulls include flower pots, birds, and wooden clog shoes filled with tulips. They hang from a vintage red celluloid chain. It measures 24 inches around. The pull charms measure about 1.5 by 1.5 inches. Slight wear to paint but overall they're in great condition.

These vintage shade pulls are hard to find as they usually got tossed with the shades. Lucky for us, someone saved them and made a necklace that's different, colorful and just plain old kitschy fun.
