These antique 'his and hers' Victorian silhouette portraits were hand-painted on tan-colored paper. The area around the silhouettes were white-washed to make the black portraits stand out better.

These are circa 1860s to 1870s. The wood frames with glass measure 5 by 6 inches. The backs are wired for hanging. They are in very good condition.
