Big Art Deco Revival Rhinestone Fan Pin - Faux Amethyst & Ruby Glass

The shape is fan like. The metal is silvertone with ornate raised bead work that's made to look like marcasites. At the top, fanned out in a sweep of majestic colors are large navette rhinestones in amethyst and ruby red glass.

The pin is resplendently sized...2 1/2 by 4 inches. Even the back was not forgotten...it has a quality textured finish. The secure rollover clasp is placed so that the pin was probably meant to be worn horizontally but on the right fabric, this looks great worn vertically or even on the diagonal.

The pin is in excellent condition. Unsigned. Circa 1970s...an Art Deco Revival piece that makes the 1930s envious.
