Vintage Italian Carved Wood Lacquered Tray w/ Orchids & Handles

This vintage carved wood tray has a graceful curvy shape that turns up around the edge. A spray of pretty orchid flowers is in the center. The tray is an ivory color and it's lacquered to protect the surface. There's just the perfect touch of gilt to highlight the tray. Handles at the ends make this easy to carry.

The tray measures 16 3/4 by 12 1/4 inches. The back label says 'WOOD - MADE IN ITALY'. The tray appears to be unused with only subtle nuances that come with a hand-crafted piece. It's in excellent condition. Circa 1950s.
