Old Pawn ZUNI Inlaid Cuff Bracelet Signed JRB - Bowannie

The hand-crafted sterling silver bracelet is channel inlaid with turquoise, coral, mother-of-pearl, and black onyx in a vivid geometric pattern. The bracelet was made before 1970.

Size: The face width measures 1/2 inch. Inner circumference measures a total of 6 1/2 inches, with 5 1/4 inches of silver and an opening of 1 1/4 inches. The bracelet weighs 22.8 grams.

The beauty of the channel inlay is matched by the fine grooved etch work at sides.

The bracelet is signed JRB - ZUNI. It's in excellent condition. (Some of the old pawn markings are still visible in the photos though most has been cleaned off since.)

This husband and wife team has been featured in numerous books and publications as two of the finest artists in this mosaic and channel inlay technique. Their work is in many Native American art collections. In the late 1960s, the Bowannies and their work were featured in 'ARIZONA HIGHWAYS' magazine.
