Old Chinese Cloisonne Enamel Dragon Rice Bowl Early 1900s

This old Chinese rice bowl is enameled with colorful cloisonne. A dragon wraps around the side, chasing the elusive flaming pearl which symbolizes perfection, enlightenment and magical powers.

The bowl is circa 1900 to 1920s. The inside of the bowl is deep cobalt blue. There is some fine hairline crackling along the inside side...the bottom looks good. With a magnifier, we can see some tiny dings to the exterior enameling though it's not very apparent to the eye and the bowl looks very good overall.

It measures 4 3/8 inches across the top by 2 inches high. It's a rare and lovely old Chinese bowl.
