Antique c1880 Stereoview 3-D Photo Card The Modest Maid Pin-Up Girl

The Modest Maid is a Victorian pin-up girl who's all buttoned up in an outfit that probably would have been considered 'risque' or 'naughty' at the time. Her form-fitting clothes and suggestive unladylike stance is far from the prim and proper protocol of the era.

This antique stereoview card is circa 1880, published by the Sterro-Photo Co. of Dolgeville, N.Y. These cards were the television of the Victorian era. Every home had a stereo viewer and these cards took on a 3-dimensional effect when seen through the viewer's lens.

The photo is mounted on gray board with a blank back. Card measures the standard 7 by 3.5 inches. It's in excellent condition.
