Vintage 1930s Celluloid Indian Chief Toy Doll Figurine

This little Indian made it. Most toys made of old celluloid plastic didn't. But this adorable hand-painted Chief came through the decades with nothing but a smile on his face.

Circa 1930s, he's marked MADE IN JAPAN, embossed in the celluloid. He's very colorful, sporting a feathered headdress and a tomahawk in his hands. He a miniature...measures 1 1/2 inches across by 2 1/2 inches high. At his right side, there's an opening that was intentionally put there but we're not sure why. Maybe he once held a tapemeasure. He does seem to rattle a bit when you shake him. He's overall in excellent condition with no dents, dings or paint loss. That brown line on his cheek is war paint though he looks very friendly to us.
