Vintage MIRIAM HASKELL Victorian Style Brass & Porcelain Necklace
This is Romantic Victoriana as interpreted by Miriam Haskell. This necklace by the great designer features a perfect little hand-painted porcelain oval surrounded by a band of white milk glass beads. It hangs with brass filigree dangles from an openwork filigree tube on a thick brass mesh chain. The necklace can be clasped from 15 to 17.5 inches around. The center hangs 2 1/4 inches long.

This is signed MIRIAM HASKELL on both the clasp and on an oval logo tag. The patina is so perfectly toned that it really does look like something from the Victorian era though it's probably circa 1940s. This Haskell necklace is in excellent condition. It's one of her more unique pieces.
