Vintage bakelite flatware set for 6 graceful unusual design

A deluxe vintage bakelite flatware set from Sheffield called Butility. This set is unusual because it has gorgeous curved edges and etched lines on the stainless fork and knife tops. Very elegant. The handles are butterscotch bakelite with double ridges down each side and nicely curved bottom.

Probably a picnic or luncheon set which was commonly made without spoons, in sets of 6. The case has water and rust spots on the lining and heavy wear to the dividers, but what fun to have the old case for storage and transport!

The stainless is very shiny and has some surface scratches from use. The bakelite handles have aging to the color, as well as one small hairline crack on the back of one of the forks, but it seems solid. Otherwise excellent vintage condition.
