Handmade Wood African Comb Zambia 1970'S

Vintage wooden handmade comb from Zambia. Acquired in the early 1970's from a market near Victoria Falls. 7 1/4" long x 2 1/4" wide.

One end has long wire teeth that have oxidized. There are tiny rounded over wires for smoothing short hair at the other end.

Visible scratch lines where the maker planned the spacing of the small teeth, including a couple of holes that were not used. Back has two sets of crossed, triple scratch lines, with red and blue coloring.

Nice ethnic collectible.
