Art Deco LALIQUE CHANTILLY Console Bowl and Candle Holders 1942

I am happy to offer this exquisite and RARE art glass set comprised of a console bowl and candleholders designed by Rene Lalique of France, circa 1942. The design was registered on May 5, 1942. Marcillac page 312 10-405. The octagonal bowl is referred to as a coupe and the design is Chantilly.. Featuring a gorgeous and dynamic Art Deco design incorporating molded and frosted bands of ferns and berries. It is deep walled and measures 11 1/4" at the widest points. Etched in script Lalique, France. Condition is great with the exception of some scratches and typical age wear on the bottom where it would have sat on a table. No damage or repairs whatsoever. The candleholders are 4 1/2" wide and 2 1/4" tall. This comes fresh from a local estate of very high quality antiques. It has not been up for sale since the family purchased this many decades ago. A wonderful addition to your collection.
