6.5" Early Doll Gebruder Ohlhaver Rare character Factory Body & Dutch Costume

Very rare and unusual, and absolutely adorable, this 6.5" Character Boy was made by GEBRUDER OHLHAVER of Sonneberg, Germany, with intaglio eyes, dimpled rosy cheeks and open-closed mouth with five small painted-dot teeth; his perfect bisque solid-dome head is incised "GERMANY 64 9/0 X".

His cheerful little painted face has so much humor & personality, his molded hair is pale-brown, and he's jointed at neck, shoulders & hips; the cap & jacket are wool felt with full sateen pants, a red sateen scarf and real hand-carved wooden shoes stamped "Germany" are attached to his feet.

He's just too cute on his factory-original composition toddler body & attached Dutch-boy costume, from a non-smoking environment.
