5 ½" Vintage NASB #185-1941 Saturday's Child Short Arm Pudgy , WRIST-TAG, BOX

A darling little girl with blonde curls, Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls DAYS OF THE WEEK Series of 1941, this is #185 SATURDAY'S CHILD, a short-Arm Pudgy with her feet painted as black slip-on shoes; she is clean, all-original, never played-with or undressed and in very excellent condition with wrist-tag and her box.

Big pale-blue eyes with finest painted upper lashes, nicely rosy cheeks and tiny bow mouth enhance her dear face, her side-part mohair wig is soft and perfect, and there are no damages or repairs.

Red taffeta gown has an attached organdy apron with embroidered organdy scalloped trim, separate batiste petticoat & pantalets, and crisp organdy mob-cap tops her curls; her original tiny straw broom is still tied to her wrist with red NASB ribbons, and the correct label is on her box. Please see pg 255 in "Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls 1936-1947" by Elaine Pardee & Jackie Robertson; from a non-smoking environment.
