16" Early Ca1840 Papier-Mâché YOUNG LADY Milliner Model All-Original Clothes (w)
Her dear pretty face has painted black eyes, grey lid-lines, black brows, pretty rosy cheeks and gently-smiling lips; small paint-rub on tip of nose, a few teeny flecks off hair. Clean & sturdy all-original kid body has no patches or repairs, wooden lower arms and legs with original cream paint and light-red correct paper bands; feet are painted as flat-soled green slippers~ (right ankle look like it might have a small paint touch-up).
Blue-green striated calico makes up her below-the-knee dress and a pink-dot apron wraps her tiny waist. A very full cotton petticoat with folded `Vandyke' hem, and pantalets complete her costume, from a non-smoking environment.
