9" Effanbee c1932 Caracul Patsy Babyette Twins in Plaid

Sleep eyes are clear and have full ‘brush’ upper lashes, hand-painted brows and lower lashes, rosy cheeks and bow mouths; her eyes are green and his eyes are blue. Both twins have light-auburn caracul wigs, very full, soft and curly. Jointed at neck, shoulders and hips, their sturdy bent-limb baby bodies have original paint & finish with rosy knees and no fading (hard-to-see very thin craze lines on faces, etc.).

The Babyette Twins are dressed to match in blue-red-yellow-black woven plaid with attached white cotton bodices – hers trimmed with lace and his with a plaid collar. Brother has shorts and a cap, while Sister has a skirt with attached panty, and bonnet. Both wear rayon socks and cream leatherette baby-shoes. These Twins are so sweet, and come from the original family, non-smoking home!!
