4.25" Sterling 1950s Japanese Shamisen Salt & Pepper

The Japanese Shamisen is a three-stringed guitar-like instrument, and this beautiful circa 1950 sterling Salt & Paper set in original fitted wooden presentation box stamped “19-26”. Each shaker is marked “STERLING // 950” under tiny sliding refill doors. Shamisen are 4 ¼” long, 1 ¼” wide and ½” thick, with six holes for shaking out the Salt & Pepper are on one side of each authentically fashioned Shamisen; from the original family, non-smoking home.
