11" Bisque c1910 AM 251/248 CHARACTER Glass Sleep Eyes

Armand Marseilles #251 is a charming 11" character baby circa 1910, with perfect bisque head incised: "251 // G.B. // Germany // A. 4/0 M. // D.R.G.M. // 248/4". This George Borgfeldt baby is in excellent condition with original mohair wig and original-finish composition baby body (some paint-wear, no repairs or breakage). Blue spiral glass sleep eyes are surrounded by finely painted lashes under flyaway brows. Round rosy cheeks, chin dimple and open-closed mouth with tongue-tip showing give her an endearing expression. A long tucked & embroidered vintage baby-doll gown, hanky-diaper, hand-knit sweater & bonnet complete Baby's outfit; from non-smoking home.
