Unique late 1800s Northwood Chrysanthemum Swirl Glass Cup
Details: Over 40 years I've never seen another of these dainty cups in this pattern so it would make a dramatic addition to anyone's collection of Northwood's chrysanthemum swirl or any other cranberry opalescent glass. The cup may have once been a part of a set accompanying the spectacular Northwood chrysanthemum swirl tankard pitcher. Hand blown in a mold, it features the lovely swirls in alternating cranberry and opalescent white glass and an applied clear glass handle. The rim is hand cut and polished, another mark of special attention not found in most early American glass. (The cup has the added distinction of once belonging to the collection of Anne Wyeth, sister and daughter respectively of the well known artists, Andrew and N.C. Wyeth.)
Dimensions: 2.5" high X 2.75" diameter, 4" across at the handle
