Franciscan Apple (U.S.A.) Over-Sized Cup & Saucer

Here for your consideration is a very early vintage Franciscan Apple (U.S.A.) over-sized cup and saucer. The Gladding McBean Company introduced the "Apple" pattern first in 1940. The pattern's apple border design was embossed in-mold and hand tinted by their skilled decorators and proved to be one of its most successful dinnerware lines. The back stamp used on both pieces date to have been used between 1939-1949 [Franciscan Ware, Hand Decorated circular mark]. The saucer is marked U.S.A., 10 (decorator), 14623 in stamped black ink. They are free of any chips, cracks, chips, staining or repairs. SEE PHOTOS FOR DETAILS. Please feel free to ask question or request more photos.

MEASUREMENTS: Over-sized Cup 5 5/8" x 3 1/4"; Over-sized Saucer 7" x 3/4". Available is a over-sized saucer only @ $10 [no damage].

*I have other pieces available in this pattern, check current inventory.
