A gorgeous two-piece Sèvres-style, hand-painted porcelain cabinet vase with integral metal screw joining the bottom to a wrythen-turned socle. Vase has pseudo side handles and a high neck with gadrooned neck rim. Vase has overall green ground with large oval, vertical reserves with hand-painted fruit/flowers/leaves in each reserve. Each reserve is framed within finely-painted raised, gilt leaves and scrolls. Neck rim, garland swags, handles, wrythen-fluting of sockle, and footrim are all gilded. Height 9 ½ inches. Base 2 ¾ inches by 2 ¾ inches. No factory mark visible. We are calling it Coalport, circa 1860. Condition: minor wear to gilding on footrim. Very minor wear to green ground on body commensurate with age.
