Christmas cyclamen by Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna, signed “Olga.” Watercolor on cardboard. Painting is 5 ¾ inches by 7 inches. We do not know if it was painted in Denmark or in Canada. Provenance: The Byington Collection which is acknowledged in: Tzar: The Lost World of Nicholas & Alexandra by Peter Kurth (p. 223); and Olga Romanov: Russia’s Last Grand Duchess by Patricia Phenix (p. 296) by direct descent from Olga Alexandrovna.
