Original Unframed German Oil on Canvas Portrait of a Lady by Jakob Muller
Original oil painting of a lady facing left, with upswept Gibson-style hair. Signature in upper left corner is Jakob Muller. We can't identify which Jakob Muller because from the lady's hair and dress, we would date the painting no earlier than the l1890s. Oil on canvas. 17 7/8 inches by 14 1/8 inches unframed. The frame was not original and is not included; actually, it was quite atrocious and we gave it away. Excellent condition for its age.
